The dentists
Dr. Preethi Trussell
Dentist & Owner
Dr. Trussell came to dentistry the long way around: first as a registered dental hygienist (Loma Linda, 2002), then back to school for her DDS (Loma Linda, 2009). She joined Armstrong Dental Centre after graduating and purchased the practice six months later, becoming only its second owner since 1972. She has pursued continuing education in implant dentistry, endodontics, and pediatric care, and has served on international dental missions in Africa, China, Mexico, and Belize.
Dr. Sheldon Barkman
Dentist
Dr. Barkman earned his DDS at the University of Saskatchewan in 2003, after years as a dental therapist in the Northwest Territories and BC. He owned and ran a Saskatoon practice before relocating to Lake Country in 2017. He brings deep experience with pediatric patients and continues his studies in implant surgery, endodontics, and orthodontics.
